(Jan. 7, 2009) They're the world's largest corporate volunteer organization; a dynamic group that’s been helping those in need for almost 100 years. 620,000 men and women committed to serving communities in the U.S., Canada and beyond. They're a great organization. And they want you!

More than 50,000 Qwest Pioneers are offering you a great way to volunteer in the community, meet new people and have a lot of fun! Pioneer projects are tailored to meet the unique needs of the community – as well as the diverse interests of Pioneers. Their primary commitment is toward education, and they work with schools throughout the region to help youth be successful.

Why join the Pioneers? Well, they’ve worked for more than a hundred years moving those in need from adversity to achievement. And, they’ve proven to be a dynamic network of volunteers who have an immeasurable positive impact on the lives of the people they serve.

Not only that, but the Pioneers just introduced a brand new logo! The new logo (below) will help broaden the organization’s purpose and reflect today’s business environment.

After all of that, why wouldn’t you join the Pioneers? For more information on the Pioneers please see the website at www.qwestpioneers.org or e-mail qwest.pioneers@qwest.com
