Denver Day of Impact

Photos from Saturday, October 23rd, National Make a Difference Day. The Qwest Pioneers took part in Denver Day of Impact in partnership with Metro Volunteers and Family Homestead, and painted a 3 bedroom apartment that will be used as emergency housing for homeless families.

The volunteers were treated to an employee appreciation party afterwards along with several hundred other volunteers that had projects all across the city that day. Pioneers assisted in preparing the grounds for the hikers and campers for the Summer 2003 season by mowing over grown grass, burning up a bunch of fallen, dead timber, and cutting back some overgrown bushes. The weather was wonderful and everybody looks forward to going back soon to "Give Another Day!"
