We are now having regular meetings at 11:00 a m on the third Saturday of each month. We meet for lunch at the Golden Corral and are enjoying the fellowship (and of course, the food.)
The weather was rotten when we had the Christmas party at the Golden Corral; only ten people were able to make it. We had a great time visiting with each other. We collected food items which were later delivered to a food bank.
The “Tellerettes,” a women’s group, still meets at 11:00 a m for lunch on the second Thursday of each month; locations vary. The meetings are mostly for fellowship. A small group of men often meet for coffee.
A few members are volun-teering at Jenny Edmundson Hospital and at the food bank.
Our group lost a number of members this past year; they are missed.
