HELLO TO ALL IOWA QWEST PIONEERS
It is so wonderful to be able to reach all of our Pioneers near and far in Iowa. Because of the distances involved, it is impossible to meet with all of you face-to-face as we would like. This year has marched past all of us much too quickly. We hope the year has been good to you and without any setbacks.
We are glad to hear that most of you find time to get together and enjoy fellowship with other members. This is a large part of what Pioneering is all about. When I hear members say “We are just a social group,” that is great. At least Pioneers are getting together and keeping one another going. That’s what we do best…MEET, TALK and of course EAT!
We are so proud of the Pioneer groups who collected school supplies which helped so many school children. I wish there was a way we could count the thousands of school children’s lives we touched through the donations of supplies we’ve made. Thanks for all your help.
With winter coming on, the collections of warm wear – hats, caps, mittens, gloves, scarves and so on are always needed in our schools. By doing projects like this, many members can become involved without a lot of effort.
