Our council was busy the last few months of 2007:  we participated in a community food drive; we collected warm clothing, including coats, for the Hope Ministries;

we twice collected toys for “Toys for Tots” by placing collection boxes in all the telephone buildings; and we helped collect Christmas gifts for a home which shelters mentally and physically challenged adults.

Pioneers have done various sorts of volunteer work:  with the Susan Komen walk; with the JDRF Association; and with other like organizations. Would any of our members doing volunteer work as individuals please report their volunteer hours to Kathy at 515-255-6965.
